In ancient Japan there were many forms of Chess played on large boards. Chu (Middle) Shogi was the most popular of these.

Six variants:

  • Chu (Middle) Shogi
  • Handicap Game - 3 Lions and 2 Pieces
  • Handicap Game - 3 Lions
  • Handicap Game - 2 Lions
  • Handicap Game - Vertical Mover
  • Handicap Game - Copper General

Chu Shogi also includes an alternative piece set (Japanese Kanji).
