Zillions of Games already has a pretty good variety of the "tafl" family of games (an old Norse/ Celtic game if you've never heard of it!) However it seems to omit perhaps the best variation- an 11x11 board with 4 king escape corners. It already has an 11x11 board where the king can escape simply to to any edge square. But that variation seems to strongly favour White. And most commercially available Hnafetafl sets are 11x11 with the 4 kings corners. It would be a very simple process to simply adjust one of the existing boards to make this. I hope someone could think about doing this. |

If you're interested in Tafl games, you should definitively download my Tablut (Hnefatafl). http://mlwi.magix.net/bg/tablut.htm Mats |

I might test the rules for my Tablut (9x9) with an 11x11 board. The rules have been researched in Sweden, at the Historical Museum. /mats |
