I have created a Japanese patch file for "Zillions of Games". ZillionsJp.EXE https://img.atwikiimg.com/www65.atwiki.jp/zillionsofgames/attach/56/1196/ZillionsJp.EXE Run this file in the same folder as "Zillions.exe" in "ProgramFiles" folder. |

Hello Shigeki, I've been impressed by the work that you and David Bennett have done re-creating the Zillions game environment. Great stuff! I have not had time to work on Zillions.NET, but I do think it would be a feasible and worthwhile effort. I also saw your wiki page, very nice! Also, in case you weren't already aware, I wanted to mention that long ago, Axiom became an entire standalone game development system. It has it's own Zillions like user interface. If you'd like to check it out, you can find some of them here: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/files/boardgame/all?username=gschmidt |

I'm familiar with Axiom. Very powerful, because it uses Forth as the game definition language, if I recall? How good is the AI? Have you published the source code? Have you tried out AMZ? There is a problem with DLLs, which you might be able to help with. |

The AI is not "one size fits all" as in ZoG, it is user customizable so it is as good or as bad as one chooses to program it. ZoG is designed to play chess-like games very well so I would advocate using ZoG for that. But for unusual games, territory and connection games, games with math computations etc., Axiom has the potential to do very well. No, I have not publised the source code. I have not tried AMZ. Lately, I have had very little free time for my personal interests. I mainly wanted to voice my support for these ZoG follow on efforts. |

Hello Greg! Thank you for understanding my ambitions. I appreciate your achievements. So I want to try Axiom standalone. However, it seems that I cannot download your software in your website. (I was asked for a login and password) |

Hello Shigeki, You would have to join boardgamegeek. It is a public site where anyone can post game related files. It's both free and easy to create an account and it's a great site for those interested in board games! |
