http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentago I am recreating this game in zillions, and do not know how to make the board sections turn. I was thinking it might be easier to simply move the pieces, rather than the board, but I do not know how to do that either. Any help would be very appreciated. So far, I have copied mostly the tic tac toe example, and a bit of the code from the 6x6 tic tac toe. I will, of course, include my own images and such after it is working. |

Hi Michael, I would like to help you, but this implementation is way too much difficult for me. I hope someone else can help you here. ;-) |

Hi, FWIW, I can offer you some suggestions: 1) There is no way to directly "rotate" piece or groups of pieces in Zillions. You will have to simulate rotation by relocating the pieces. 2) #1 above means that multiple piece will need to move simultaneously. You will need to use the "cascade" command in order to do that. 3) You'll need some way for the player to specify which quadrant is to be rotated and in which direction. I suggest using buttons with rotation arrows on them. These buttons would be located somewhere off the board. |

@Greg: I did not think of that command, but that was the exact concept I was looking for. I had thought I would need buttons with arrows, but was unsure, thank you for your advice. I will look into trying it today and see where I get. Thank You :-) |
