How can I put a piece only available by promoting, on chess, and make the pawns and another kind of pawns advance 2 and 3 spaces at the begginig only; the first line of pawns is on the fourth row and the other on the second row. |

To create a piece only available by promoting, just don't add the piece to the board initially, only having it as one of the list of possible promotions. As regards letting the pawns only advance multiple steps at the beginning, take a look at the standard chess and how it handles the pawns. Either configure the pawns as two piece types, one for each row, or make the rule based on row and that "never-moved" is still true. |
