Is there an easier way of learning the zrf language?, like a tutorial or videotutorial because the manual is quite complex to be learnt only with it.

how can I write a castling (cascade)on a board of 12x12 , instead of O-0 AND 0-0-0 (it's 0-0-0-0 and
0-0-0-0-0)

You'll have to describe exactly what it is you're going for, but my impulse is to direct you to the Zillions file for http://www.chessvariants.org/large.dir/doubleboard.html which implements an O-O-O-O and O-O-O-O-O for a 16 x 8 variant.
