Well I wrote too many directions, more than a hundred, but thats the only way possible to write the game, is there another version of Zillions where doesnt matter how many directions are? |

HOW CAN I EXPRESS THIS CORRECTLY? (loss-condition (White)(checkmated King)) (loss-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 0)) (draw-condition (White) stalemated) (draw-condition (White Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 0 Pawns 0 Queen 0 Knight 0 Rider 0 Rook 1 King)) (draw-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 1 Queen)) (draw-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 1 Rider)) (draw-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 2 Rider)) (draw-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 1 Knight)) (draw-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 2 Knight)) (draw-condition (Black)(pieces-remaining 1 PhantomKnight 1 Rook)) |

Ee... do you really need that many directions? Couldn't you combine a few of them? As for not allowing a piece to put the King into check, that should just be a matter of a second test after the move for whether the attack targets the King. It's going to require a lot of movement statements (for example, a Queen and a Knight piece would have 64 moves, not including the multiple moves available in the slide), but it's an option. |
