I'm searching for a free/open game that can be adapted to an NGO contribution mechanism whereby players pay to begin a game and then part of the money of multiple players over multiple game sessions is returned to a game winner, part is added to the pot for additional player pay offs, and part is immediately contributed to an NGO paypal account. My guess is that the adjustment of the initial game would be made with some combination of html5, php, and javascript. My question is: are there any characteristics of a Zillions listed game that would immediately identify it as amenable to such adjustment? Correspondingly, are there any characteristics that would immediately disqualify a game for such consideration?

Zillions is designed to run directly under Windows. There's no point in adapting it. To implement the rules of just about any game in Java would be much simpler, since no search engine is required.
