Hello,
In developing a game I found I needed more than twenty six co-ordinate values per axis and so I decided to extend the obvious range of 'a' to 'z' with the Germanic characters 'ä' 'ë' 'ï' 'ö' and 'ü' giving me just enough symbols in all. I was amazed when the ZoG 2 ZRF system rejected these extra symbols and I found that I must use an alternative that I chose to be the combination symbols 'a!' 'e!' 'i!' 'o!' and 'u!' which ZoG 2 accepted. Can it be that in the year 2003 ZoG 2 really restricts us to using pure ASCII characters, or have I yet again missed something?
Thanks for any comments which you find explanatory,
Ronald W Brierley

I've just downloaded and installed the ZoG 2.0.1 patch and it still gives a syntax error on finding the character 'ä' in a modified ZRF file.
