I have found what seems to be a bug in Zillions. In playing the game "Double Chess", the following sequence occured:

Zillions Save Game File Version 0.02 CH
RulesFile=C:\Program Files\Zillions of Games\Rules\DoubleChess\Chess_Double.zrf
VariantName=Double Chess V2.0
1. Pawn E2 - E4
1. Knight b8 - c6
2. Pawn D2 - D4
2. Pawn g7 - g5
3. Knight B1 - C3
3. Knight G8 - F6

The Knight at C3 is now unable to move. The ZRF code seems fine, and the game itself is only slightly modified from standard chess. Could the unusual grid naming system in this game be causing a problem?

Dear Roger,

it´s not the grid, not the zrf code, not the Zillions engine - it´s just plain CHESS !

The Knight at C3 is now unable to move,
because otherwise the king would be in check!!!
