How can I make a piece "Die" when it captures, like a Kamikaze sort of thing. |

You could create a "Null" piece that does not block movement and is captured when the space is moved to. Then when a kamikaze piece makes a capture, it promotes to a "Null". But there probably is a better way. |

*heavy irony* Oh! Can you imagine I never thought about that? I always used the old construction "capture add". Add will put piece on the square and capture will ensure that whatever is there will disappear. You cannot get kamikaze capturing much easier. |

Hmmm, how exactly do you do the "Capture add" thing? ive tried ideas like that but they always produced no result (Im Schtoopid! ^,^) as for the null i'll try that too |

Ok Capture add works, but um, how do i get it to only die if it has captured, the way you suggested results in death even in nonhostile movement =\ |

Have you try the simple "(moves n n (if enemy? capture) add)" ? I don't sure that will work (I'm a beginner too) but it might be the best. PS:I am on a computer which don't have Zillions. |
