When I have implemented games in Zillions where the number of pieces specified as off board at the start of the game is actually important, I seem to get very strange results in Zillions.

As a general example, consider a checkers like game where the player may drop some pieces on to the board, say 20 or so.

Red has a king on c1. Black(AI player) is unhappy with this, so he drops a piece on b2, forcing red to jump to a3. Of course, now black could drop again on b2 and force one more jump. But he can not force this forever, since his supply will end. But even when the supply is down to only 1 piece, Zillions has a 0 in the evaluation, indicating that it thinks this is a bug (although it may have lost several pieces from this unsound behaviour).

I have had this problem in 3 checkers-related games, so I would be grateful for some help here. In one of the other games zillions thinks it has a win until it realises it doesn't have any of the pieces it needs to play.
