I just noticed that neutral? works differently than I thought it did. I thought a piece was neutral if it belonged to a played called neutral. But it seems, rather, that a piece is neutral if its player is not mentioned in the turn-order. Is this what neutral? means? |

The documentation answered my question. neutral? means that a player is not mentioned in the turn-order. But then I noticed something that is undocumented. When I changed a non-random player to a random player, it seemed to regard the random player as neutral--even though the random player was mentioned in the turn order. I do not believe it has always been like this. The script I'm working on is over a year old and has previously worked as it's supposed to with a random player. Has the meaning of neutral? changed to include all random players? |
