Hi, first of all I LUV 'Z'. Now down to business...I have developed several board games that use 'marching' piece either across a moving board (the players take turns moving parts of the board itself) or across a substrate and the board moved underneath them (causing pieces to become 'trapped' in a black hole or something). IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO HAVE THE BOARD BE A MOVING ELEMENT IN A 'Z'-GAME? IS THERE AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO WRITE CODE FOR THE BOARD LINKS AND SUCH TO MOVE AROUND (ie, one game of mine called TRAXX has pieces that move along a path akin to circuitry...they may move when the circuit path line up...and each player may use one of his/her turns trying to line up these paths)? desperately seeking brilliant people for answers/hints!! -k oh yeah, I LUV 'Z'! |

Look at what Jens Markmann did for Star Trek 3D chess, which is part of his 3D collection on his website. This game has moving attack boards, which he implemented by creating multiple attack boards and covering inactive ones with grey pieces. |
