When playing from the harddrive, Zillions should remember all menu setting and selected options from the last startup. It is extremely annoying to - switch off the move list - change piece animation - remove status bar and other settings every time I start Zillions. Note that this request is ADDITIONALLY to the URGENT request that Zillions (optionally?) remembers these setting when selecting a new game or even only when selecting a new variant! (When you play the opponent in any Zillions game, for example, you have to select this in the menu options again EVERY TIME you select another variant!) |

That's not what I'm seeing. I see that Zillions is remembering all these settings when you select a new variant. It is also remembering all these settings when you open a new ZRF through the menu (either Open or Most-Recently-Used List). If you go to another ZRF from a selection screen it will reinstate the move list (which probably isn't best), but doesn't change the other settings. If you reload Zillions, it reinstates the Status Bar (again, probably not best). But I never see the piece animation settings forgotten no matter what I do. |
