I have been experimenting with sounds. When I include the function "draw-sound" it always goes to the default draw sound instead of the sound I specified. However "win-sound" and "lose-sound" work fine.
For example, I just included in my game the following strings:
(win-sound "Audio\HORSE.wav")
(draw-sound "Audio\HORSE.wav")
When I win the game it makes the HORSE sound. When the game is drawn it makes the default "Draw" sound (from the subdirectory "Default" in the "Audio" directory which comes with Zillions.
Is it actually possible to change the "draw-sound" as the Zillions Language Reference claims? |

Thanks for pointing out this 'bug'!
Nope, the workout @ this moment of Time is to rename your horse.wav sound file to draw.wav & replace the default draw-sound in your subdirectory "Default" in the "Audio" directory which comes with Zillions with your draw-sound file.
From now on every zillions game you play on your computer will have your desired draw sound [Unfortunately, everyone else who wants to hear a new desired draw sound on his zillions games has to do the same].

Thanks Astrit. Unfortunately I often want different sounds for different games. This will be something for them to fix if they ever make another update of Zillions. |
