I often go to another window or turn away from the computer while the computer is thinking about its move. Usually I turn back when I hear the tone which means the computer has moved, but its too late by then to see the pieces move. Sometimes it's several minutes after the computer has moved when I get back to the game. So I find myself frequently using PAGEUP DOWN DOWN to replay my move and the computer's move. I'd like pressing SPACE BAR (when at the end of the move list) to be the equivalent of PAGEUP DOWN DOWN, with a slide-bar (like in the "Computer Opponent" settings window) to set an adjustable delay between moves. I'd also like to go to any move in the move list, even the beginning of the game, and press SPACE BAR to auto-replay moves from there forward, using the current delay setting. Pressing BACK SPACE would start auto-replay in reverse, taking back moves one-by-one. Pressing any key would stop auto-replay. |
