This forum needs to be fixed to allow the use of greater-than and less-than signs in text. In my first message titled "Teams of Players," I entered the characters themselves, and it read it as an HTML code that shouldn't be displayed. In the second message under the same name, I used the HTML codes for greater-than and less-than signs, but it displayed the codes instead of the signs. Also, this forum has no real preview. As soon as I hit, "Preview/Post Message," it posted the message. We should be allowed to preview messages before posting them. |

Hi, I haven't ever had any trouble previewing without posting (and I've previewed this particular message a lot.) The only button that posts is the one that says, "Post this Message". Make sure you hit "Preview/Post Message" instead if you just want to preview. I've corrected your previous message post with the intended symbols. The greater-than and less-than symbols seem to work individually, but sometimes do some funny processing when paired as a tag. There's probably already some special and easy way to enter them, but I don't know it. So I made a brand-new way: Type \ch{<} for a < Type \ch{>} for a > That way you can enter tags, e.g. <blah> |

I think I figured out your preview problem. If you go to Utilities:Edit Profile on the right side and click to edit your Preferences, there is a checkbox for: "Skip the preview screen when posting" Maybe you have that checked. |
