I'd like Zillions to keep track of (and display when asked) my statistics for each variant. That is, how many times I've played, how many times I won, lost, or drew, number of moves per game, time per game, etc.. When I select a variant, I'd like Zillions to restore the playing strength & time options I used the last time I played that particular game and variant, the window size and layout. For example, these could be recorded at the beginning of the Moves List and in each *.zsg file. And I'd like to automatically load the Moves List from the last time I played a variant when I return to it later. |

I too would like to see Zillions remember playing strength and time options for each game and variant. I would also like to be able to set multiple computer players to a different strength and play time. This would help test the depth of a game in devleopment (rather than the logic of its script) by having the computer play itself to measure how much depth is there to the game, how much difference does another notch on the expertise scale make, how much difference does doubling the thinking time, what is the threshold for computer strength and play time for the computer to play well, how broad a level of player expertise can the game give a good contest for? |
