"Adjacent-to-Friend?"
or how a about "In-line-with-friend?"
"In-line-with-Enemy"

how about a condition that returns true if a piece could move to the current location if it
was or is empty and false if no pieces could get
there in a single move.

How about a randomising seed? i.e.
(if empty? add (random pawn rook queen))

and on another note, why doesnt the Zillions of games program not come with go, backgammon, or mancala but the Zclient does?

To answer the question about the ZClient, we do not yet have the legal rights to ship the engines that those games use. (Also, the ZRF's rely on version 1.2 functionality.) Sorry.

Jeff, may I suggest ZClient compatibility for next release of Zillions-of-Games.

If Zillions development do not have the right to ship the engine=DLL of games developped for www.msoworld.com=ZClient. You may have the right to make your next version of Zillions-of-Games compatible at the ZRF level and introduce the new DLL entry point, and document them. Also, the clock feature seems to be a nice one too.

Now I think the user community is smart enough to find a way to reuse the DLL and the encrypted ZRF files comming inside ZClient. And you don't have to disclose anything or explain how to do it on your web site... we will.

PS: I hope you keep your right on ZRF v1.2. ;-)
