Okay, there is no right discussion catagory to put this under. The message board is different. It looks like all those false error log in posts are gone/stopped in the future.

Yes, I updated the message board software to fix the vulnerability that the inconsiderate spam bots were exploiting to post all those messages that ended up as Authentication Errors. (I guess spambots like Hex...)
That should fix the problem. Even if they find another way, I have new security tools available now.
Incidentally, the message board has a lot of other new features available. I'll also be doing another major upgrade of it later this year.

Hi Jeff, here's another wish if you update the message board:
Often I would like to read the last ten (or last 100) messages. When there is little posting going on, the "last week" option is not very useful anymore.
The last n messages would give a nice look at the latest discussions and postings.
I hope it is possible to add this option. I am sure most contributors will agree.
