1) Play takes place on a 20x20 board. There are 2 players: white and black. Each player takes turns putting his/her pieces on the board. The object of the game is to surround as much area as possible with your pieces. Only up/down and left/right connections between pieces count: X-X or X is valid | X X | is not. X- 2) Chess variant. Each player starts out with 15 "bases" (Ala octi) and one king placed on the board like the pieces in a regular game of chess. The king can move 1 square any direction. Each player has a certain number number of each of 3 kinds of pegs: "short" pegs that allow a piece to move 1 square in a direction, "long" pegs that allow for movement all the way across the board in a direction, and "Knight" pegs that allow for knight-like movemwnt in a direction. However, Knight pegs can only be put in non-diagonal facing peg holes. Each base has 8 peg holes in it. Each one for the 8 squares next to the square it is in. Each piece at the start of the game has 1 short peg facing already put in it. When a player puts a peg in a base it allows the base to move in that direction the distance depending on the kind of peg put in the hole. A player wins when he puts the other player's king in checkmate. Feel free to make games out of these. All I ask is that you mention me in the credits. Also, if your not a great artist, I have some 3D art skills e-mail me at cuallito@yahoo.com if you need me to design the pieces and the board. |
