To Everyone, Back in 1977 I designed a very original new game called RunAround. Unfortunately, Zillions AI plays it terribly. This was not unexpected since it is not a Zillions type of game. In 1997 I programmed a PC version for Windows 95. Now a FREE download is now available from my website: http://www.geocities.com/bob_kraus_2000/RunAround.html (Sorry it's not Zillions --- I tried!) RunAround is a pure strategy board game for 2 players. No element of chance is involved. It is a completely original type of game in which the 2 players chase each other around a circular track, each attempting to score points by reaching certain positions or passing his opponent. Their moves are limited in various ways, and the entire game cannot last for more than 40 turns, 20 for each player. The game is not a "deep" game (like Chess); it is more of a quick-paced, fun type of game, which nevertheless can be quite challenging. Bob Kraus |
