Many fruitful discoveries can be made in the area of interception (custodian) capture, I think. The old game Siga was an eye-opener to me.

My experiment continues. My "Quad" game has been improved in that white must drop his first counter on one of the four centre squares, and his second counter on the rim. This is to reduce white's first move advantage. Quad can be downloaded here.

I gave this idea up, that of simultaneous dropping and interception-capture. (It's not easy this game development business.) But I will try this idea on an hexagonal board instead.
