Nor can I get it to work. Can't copy pieces to board. Forgive me, but it's crap! (BTW, in my latest update of "Shamanic Chess" I introduced a serious bug. I will publish a fixed version this weekend.) |

Why should anyone forgive you when you get personally and nasty (and this is not the first time)? Look into the mirror first: How forgiving are you when you use that style of conversation? Ever thought of attending an anger management class? ............... Alfred Pfeiffer made me aware of a bug (when black chooses the colours). Thank you very much, Alfred. It's on my to-do list, but I am very busy at the moment. Love and peace to you all. Karl |

(No, no, I'm not the least angry, Karl.) You could possibly make something of this game by dropping only white pawns, randomly, on the white side, and black pawns on the black side. This makes the resultant positions much more manageable. Mats |

Again we can see how a game construct mirrors the alchemical concepts. 'Massa confusa', is the chaotic initial state in the alchemical retort after 'materia prima' has been added. 'Materia prima' is leprous matter, the most degraded you can find, such as 'feces' and a 'whore's menstruum', or as I eloquently put it, 'crap'. After total blackening ('nigredo') has been achieved, the state of 'albedo', the whitening, ensues. However, in this game the initial chaotic state consists of white pieces, and the blackening comes next. Perhaps the order should be changed, to accommodate it to time-honoured alchemical symbology. --Mats |
