I am new to Zillions. I like the concept alot, but I haven't actually made any games in Zillions yet. I was wondering if someone was willing to help me (or even create) a game I made up?

The game is called "A General's Army."

There are a few large difficulties in implementing to game. In the game, "army" pieces move one step orthagonally at a time. They are considered "in" supply if there is an unbroken chain (not including diagonals) of friendly armies/supply markers back to and including any "village" square (I think this kind of pathfinding will be hard). They leave behind supply markers and may capture enemy supply markers while they are in supply. They may always "capture" friendly supply markers.

In the full army game (Maybe an "advanced" variant?) the player also is given a "general" piece. The player has three choices: Pass (they can only choose this if a supply piece is present on the board), move their general (the general moves like a rook, and can jump friendly supply pieces, but not armies or enemy supply pieces. They only leave behind a supply marker on the original square they left), or set an "objective" for an army that is adjacent to their general.

After each player moves, their armies attempt to move toward their objective. If there is a straight orthagonal line to the objective, it will move down it if it can (or sit still if it is stuck). If it is at a diagonal and both directions are open (the army only looks one square ahead) it decides based on the following priorities (remember, no diagonals in this game):

1) The army likes moving toward their owner, when their owner faces their opponent.

2) The army likes to move sideways.

3) Finally, the army will move toward their opponent.

A final possible rule is to limit the number of a player's supply markers. When and enemy takes one of their supply markers it is removed permanently, but when a friendly piece "takes" one it is returned to the player's hand. When they run out of supply markers in-hand, they are given the choice (but not forced to) move a supply marker from another part of the board to fill in behind their army.

VICTORY is attained when the opponent's armies and/or general cannot move due to lack of supply, orders, or being completly surrounded. Two consecutive passes or loss of all supply markers on both sides results in a draw.

If anyone would care to walk me through how to create this game in Zillions (if it is possible) or wants to see the board and set-up to create it themselves, you can email me at bradyalexander@gmail.com.

I forgot to add, if a friendly army that is going to move that turn is blocking another, the owner gets to decide the order in which they move.

Any response is welcome. Thank you for reading.
