From time to time, we'll announce new games that have been introduced into the Zillions of Games interface. Those games will also be listed on the front page of the site under the "What's New" right-hand side bar, and at http://www.zillionsofgames.com/games/. Is there a game you'd like to see added to the Zillions of Games interface? Feel free to make suggestions here. It's quite possible other users will take you up on it. | |||

Someone else may have thought of this first, but I haven't seen it. I would like to see a game which I will call Drone Chess. Start with a 9 x 8 board. On the King side, in the corners next to the King's Rooks, place a new piece called the Drone. The Drone can move to any unoccupied square, but it cannot capture or give check. The foreseeable changes in the game would be: (1) Long-distance check and threats (e.g. from queens, rooks and bishops) would be reduced, (2) thus pawns and knights would be stronger pieces, and (3) check from adjacent squares would be more common. Dear Ted I have not heard of this variant. It sounds like it would be easy to change the standard chess rules file to make it work. Can the drones be captured of are they just an obstruction? | |||

Hi, i have found "Bellitum" (Chess Variant) in the internet. It is brand new (2009), and for me a really good game, like realtime stategy with shooting units and special fields.. but i can not script a new game for zillions. i hope some one like it. (bellitum.de) greatings steven | |||

Judkins Shogi I hope someone implements Judkins Shogi. I find MiniShogi much too cramped. Judkins is so much better to me, and it should be very easy to implement (6x6 boards and standard shogi rules and pieces). |
